Keep It Moving. Keep It Fun. Keep It About You.
Someone Has to Know What Happens Next
Energy When You Need It. Space When You Don’t.
I keep one eye on the run sheet and the other on the room. I coordinate with the venue and suppliers, make sure speakers are actually where they need to be and adjust when dinner runs late, Dad disappears or the photographer needs five more minutes.
Then when the microphone is on, I bring warmth, personality and enough energy to keep everyone with us. And when the moment belongs to someone else, I get out of the way.

You Enjoy the Wedding. I’ll Watch the Clock.

A Few Things Couples Usually Ask
What does a wedding MC actually do?
I help build the run sheet, coordinate with the venue and suppliers, prepare speakers, handle introductions and formalities, and keep the reception moving when the timing inevitably shifts. The microphone is only the visible part of the job.
What is the difference between an MC and the venue coordinator?
The venue coordinator looks after the venue, service and staff. I look after the guest-facing flow of the reception. We work together so meals, speeches, photos, formalities and entertainment land in the right order without you having to manage any of it.
Can a friend or family member be our MC?
Absolutely. If the reception is fairly simple and you have someone confident who genuinely enjoys the job, that can work brilliantly. If you are deciding between a mate and a professional, my guide to whether you actually need a wedding MC covers the trade-offs properly.
What happens when the run sheet goes off schedule?
That is fairly normal. I adjust with the venue, DJ, photographer and speakers, move things where they need to move and keep the room informed without making the delay feel like a problem. Ideally, you do not notice most of it.
